Island Tour

You have come all this way so take the opportunity to enjoy Tenerife’s most beautiful scenic locations. Starting on the south-west coast of the island, views are dominated by Los Gigantes. Making our way through the village of Santiago del Teide and on to Erjos mountains, we reach the plateau of the volcano. Here we see the splendours of Mount Teide with her numerous colors and rock formations. Heading north we pass through El Tanque, where we stop at Mirador de Garachico (observation platform). We can see this small village that was partly destroyed by a volcanic
eruption in 1706. Proceeding onto Icod de los Vinos, we stop at the famous Dragon tree (about 3000 years old). Our next stop is the town of La Orotava. A magnificent old town full of history, art and architecture. We offer the chance to walk through to visit La Casa de los Balcones, and its center that offers typical embroidery and other products. Following this we then head to Pueblochico, where you have free entry and if you wish can purchase the lunch. We then make a brief stop at the Mirador de Humbolt, before heading back to the South. Our day finishes in Candelaria, where we see the black Madonna. (Lunch is NOT included but can be purchased for 13 Euros, If not feel free to bring along a picnic and eat inside Pueblo Chico)
